The NM Stories Presentation, “Authors Carmella Padilla and Robin Farwell Gavin in Conversation with Arts Journalist Michael Abatemarco,” set for Thursday, May 21st, will be postponed until the fall.

We will announce the new date in our upcoming newsletter. If you already bought tickets, please watch for an email from Jessica next week, which will include details about your options. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event in the fall, you will be able to request a refund.

Please join us in congratulating Author Carmella Padilla on her upcoming award! We just learned that in two weeks, Carmella will receive the Mayor’s Award for Exceptional Contribution to the Preservation and/or Understanding of the City’s Prehistory or History.

Mayor Michael Garcia will present the award as part of the 2026 Santa Fe Heritage Preservation Awards, co-sponsored by the City of Santa Fe, Old Santa Fe Association, and the Historic Santa Fe Foundation.

The ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 21, at 5:30 p.m. at San Miguel Chapel, followed by a reception at El Zaguan. The event is free and open to everyone. We hope to see you there!
