Santa Fe’s culinary story begins long before a dish reaches the table. It starts in the fields, farms, ranches, and markets where local ingredients are grown, raised, and gathered.
On August 1, guests experienced that connection firsthand during another memorable Farmers’ Market Demonstration Class, an afternoon celebrating fresh ingredients, local producers, and the flavors of New Mexico.
The experience began with a stroll through the colorful Santa Fe Farmers’ Market, where the season’s freshest fruits, vegetables, herbs, and locally grown ingredients provided inspiration for the day’s menu.
From there, guests returned to the kitchen, where Chef Noe and Chef Drew demonstrated how simple, farm-fresh ingredients can become an extraordinary meal.
As each dish came together, the chefs shared cooking techniques guests could take home to their own kitchens while also highlighting the ingredients themselves—where they came from, why seasonality matters, and how choosing what is fresh can completely change a dish.
It was a reminder that great cooking doesn’t always begin with a complicated recipe. Sometimes it begins by finding an incredible ingredient and simply allowing it to shine.
The afternoon concluded the best way a cooking class can: gathered around the table.
Guests enjoyed the meal they had watched come together, celebrating the farmers, ranchers, producers, and chefs who help make Northern New Mexico’s food culture so distinctive.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us on August 1 and especially thankful for the local growers and producers whose hard work makes experiences like this possible.
The Farmers’ Market Demonstration Class was another beautiful reminder that some of the best meals begin with the freshest ingredients—and the people who grow them.
Thank you for being part of another memorable farm-to-table experience. We can’t wait to cook with you again.
