Celebrate DAF Day by Supporting the Future of NMSU

On Oct. 8, the New Mexico State University Foundation will join organizations across the country in celebrating DAF Day, a national campaign recognizing the impact of donor-advised funds and the generosity they make possible.

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is one of the simplest and most flexible ways to support the causes that matter most to you. Similar to a charitable savings account, a DAF allows you to recommend how much and how often funds are granted to the New Mexico State University Foundation and other qualified charitable organizations.

You can recommend a one-time grant to make an immediate impact, establish recurring grants to support NMSU year after year, or incorporate your fund into a long-term charitable giving strategy.

A donor-advised fund can also help you create a lasting legacy. By naming the New Mexico State University Foundation as the beneficiary of all or a portion of your fund, you can continue supporting the students, faculty and programs that mean the most to you.

If you choose to designate only a percentage of your fund to NMSU, you may also name loved ones as successor advisors, allowing your family’s tradition of charitable giving to continue for generations.
