We’re excited to share a new way to compete this fall as theSun Country Amateur Golf Association celebrates its 50th anniversary with the 2026 GHIN Challenges!
Golfers will have the opportunity to play participating courses on their own schedule, post their scores through GHIN, and compete on a live net leaderboard. There is no additional entry fee — simply pay your normal green fee and play.
And we may be a little biased, but one of the best parts is still to come…
NMSU Golf Course will be one of the featured courses in Wave 3, running December 7–31!
To qualify for the leaderboard, golfers will need to post at least three 18-hole rounds, with their best three net scores determining their standing.
The first wave begins October 15, so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved before the Challenge makes its way to Las Cruces.
We’re excited to see NMSU Golf Course included alongside some great facilities throughout New Mexico and El Paso — and even more excited to see our local golfers take their shot at the leaderboard!
Mark your calendars: December 7–31 at NMSU Golf Course.
More information and the NMSU registration link will be shared when our wave opens.
