On Wednesday’s talk show of Para los Ninos, KSWV Que Suave Radio visited with host Roman Abeyta, Executive Director of the Santa Fe Boys and Girls Club, Chris Sanchez, Director of Community Services with the City of Santa Fe (pictured right), Julie Sanchez, Program Manager, Youth and Family Services-City of Santa Fe and Richard Dimella, Juvenile Justice Planner-City of Santa Fe. The focus of our discussion was the upcoming Mayor’s Youth Summit taking place this Friday March 31, 2017 at the Santa Fe Indian School starting at 8:30 am until 1:30pm.

We spoke at length about the summit’s focus and subsequent agenda items to include many topics of interest to our youth such as bullying, job opportunities and the mayor’s youth advisory board. This is the second annual Mayor’s Youth Summit which takes a great amount of coordination between several agencies and organizations such as the Santa Fe Indian School, Santa Fe Public Schools, the City of Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Boys and Girls Club to happen. So congratulations to all involved for getting the second annual conference off the ground.

On behalf of Que Suave we want to wish all involved in the this event good fortune and that this event creates a great deal of positive momentum for any ideas generated by this summit to assist our youth here in Santa Fe.

Para Los Niños broadcasts every Wednesday morning at 8:30am

KSWV Que Suave Radio can be heard at 99.9 FM in Santa Fe, 810 AM Northern New Mexico, online at www.QueSuaveRadio.com and with the KSWV Que Suave Radio mobile app available from iTunes and Google Play.
