Outdoor experience will change lives completely

I couldn’t agree more with Maya Angelou when she said, “Having courage does not mean that we are unafraid. Having courage and showing courage means we face our fears.”
As girls become teenagers and begin to experience dramatic changes in their bodies and minds, they need our programs more than ever. We recognize that the Girls Inc. Experience must provide teen girls with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to meet life’s challenges and make the best decisions for themselves. And all of this takes courage.
The Girls enCourage program builds physical strength, self-esteem, and courage in a girl by engaging her in positive risk taking activities outdoors.
This summer, we are providing enCourage to more girls than ever before! That is why she needs you to in her family.
Your financial contribution will provide crucial tuition assistance to 25 teen girls enrolled at our center and 20 teen girls enrolled through our new partnership with the City of Santa Fe.
With your support, teenage girls enrolled in enCourage will have outdoor experiences that will change their lives completely. She will camp, hike, raft and go on treasure hunts. She will learn to read maps, rock climb, rappel, and build trust with peers. She will show courage by facing her fears.
With you in her corner, a teen girl will grow up to become a strong, smart, and bold woman who will live an empowered and courageous life. Please support our girls.
