Free admission and tickets for kids at over 35 venues in Santa Fe this summer, program in second successful year!
SANTA FE, NM – The City of Santa Fe Arts Commission, in partnership with the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, has a special offer for all students this summer. The Summer Youth Cultural Passport is a downloadable booklet that features free admission to museums, free tickets for performances and other FREE happenings for kids all over Santa Fe through August 30.
Participants can bring their passport to various cultural events and collect stickers at each venue. When a participant receives 5 stickers, they can claim a prize at the City of Santa Fe Community Gallery inside the Santa Fe Convention Center at 201 W. Marcy Street.
Additional prizes will be rewarded at a special reception in early August at the Santa Fe Community Gallery. Prizes have been donated by area businesses and nonprofit organizations including Doodlet’s, Los Alamos National Bank, The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Museum of NM Foundation, Performance Santa Fe and Santa Fe Botanic Gardens. This year’s grand prize will be a bicycle donated by Mellow Velo.

Passports can also be picked up at Santa Fe area Visitors Centers and at each participating venue.
Participating organizations include all five state museums, The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Rancho de los Golondrinas, the annual CURRENTS festival, Santa Fe Botanic Gardens, Desert Chorale, Music on the Hill, The International Folk Art Market, Performance Santa Fe, Indian and Spanish Markets, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival and the Santa Fe Opera.
