This week the City Council will take up debate and voting on several huge issues for Santa Fe.

Among other items, the Council will make a final decision on Mayor Gonzales’ proposal for the initial round of investment from the Verde Fund – $300,000 grant that will lead to $1,000,000 in community investments throughout the city on projects including job creation and training and an annual reduction of hundreds of tons of CO2 emissions in Santa Fe.

The grants were scrutinized and passed at the Finance Committee, and both supporters and opponents are invited to come out and make their voices heard!
