NEXT WEEK: Udall Serving You Office Hours in Northern New Mexico

Next week, a representative from the office of U.S. Senator Tom Udall will hold Udall Serving You Office Hours in northern New Mexico for Taos, Raton, Mora, Dixon, Los Alamos, and Santa Fe residents who need help with issues related to federal agencies.

On Monday, August 28, office hours will be held in Taos from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Taos Senior Program.

On Tuesday, August 29, office hours will be held in Raton from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Raton County Commissioners’ Chambers and in Mora from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mora Senior Center.

On Wednesday, August 30, office hours will be held in Dixon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Embudo Valley Community Center.

On Thursday, August 31, office hours will be held in Los Alamos from 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. at the Betty Ehart Senior Center.

On Friday, September 1, office hours will be held in Santa Fe from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mary E. Gonzales Senior Center.

Residents of Taos, Raton, Mora, Dixon, Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and the surrounding communities are encouraged to stop by.

“If you need help with a federal agency or service, my office can help guide you through the process and assist however possible,” Udall said. “My staff will be in your community during our Udall Serving You office hours, and I encourage you to stop by if you need assistance or information. We will review your case and talk about the options that might be available.”

Veterans: Veterans’ benefits, eligibility determinations, VA home loans, and replacements of medals earned.

Social Security: Social Security benefits and eligibility, missing checks.

Immigration: Assistance with facilitating the naturalization application process, immigrant petitions for relatives and adjustment of status applications that are delayed or lost.

Passports: Obtaining an emergency passport, help with a lost passport and overseas travel restrictions.
