The annual Celebración gala will be held on November 18, 2017(you should have received your invitation in the mail by now) and we would like to extend an invitation to participate in the success of this wonderful event. Our gala includes cocktails, dinner, fabulous silent and live auctions and entertainment. In an effort to make our gala a greater success this year, we are kindly asking for your participation which can be in the form of supporting the actual event by purchasing tickets and/or table, or by donations of art which can be sold in the live or silent auctions during the gala.
If you have any art at home that you are willing to share, I ask you to consider donating it for inclusion in the Celebración gala auctions. These donations are tax deductible and serve as an excellent way to give back to your community. We graciously accept any assistance that you can offer and we thank you in advance for your support of SCAS.
Twelve years ago, the first Celebración gala was warmly received by our guests and I am pleased to say that each of the succeeding years has seen a growth in the event with the proceeds utilized to support the mission and goals of the organization. We exist to preserve, promote and exhibit the Spanish Colonial art traditions of New Mexico and beyond and we are pleased to educate the public about art forms which continue to change the Americas. Our members have been the driving force of our achievements and we want to extend our gratitude to those of you who responded to any of our requests in previous years. We ask that you continue to partner with us in the years to come.
