Clayton Lake: Closed for the season.
Cimarron River: Stream flow near Cimarron on Monday was 9.07 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Conchas Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using jig and minnow combinations, spoons and blade baits for walleye and white bass. We had no other reports.
Costilla Creek: Stream flow on Monday below Costilla Dam was 1.23 cfs. Check this one out next spring.
Cowles Ponds: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Coyote Creek: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Eagle Rock Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Eagle Nest Lake: Fishing was fair using PowerBait for rainbow trout. Fishing was slow to fair using spinners, jointed crank baits and spoons for northern pike. Kokanee snagging was slow. We had no other reports.
Gallinas River: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Hopewell Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Lake Alice: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Lake Maloya: Trout fishing was fair to good using PowerBait, salmon eggs and salmon egg corn combinations for trout.
Los Pinos River: Fishing was fair to good using salmon eggs, bead-head prince nymphs and spinners for trout.
Maxwell Lake 13: Closed for the season.
Monastery Lake: Fishing was very good using PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout.
Morphy Lake: Closed for the season.
Pecos River: Streamflow near Pecos on Monday was 35.7 cfs. Fishing was fair using bead-head prince nymphs, custom tied nymphs, San Juan worms, PowerBait, salmon eggs and worms for brown and rainbow trout.
Red River: Stream flow below the hatchery on Monday was 54.4 cfs. Fishing was good using PowerBait, worms, salmon eggs and small bead-head nymphs for trout.
Red River City Ponds: Close for the season Nov. 15.
Rio Grande: Stream flow on Monday at the Taos Junction Bridge was 629 cfs. Before the latest rise in the flows, fishing was good using prince nymphs, crane flies, bead-head pheasant tail nymphs, small mayfly nymphs, Panther Martins, worms and salmon eggs for brown and rainbow trout. We had no reports on other species.
Rio Hondo: Stream flow near Valdez on Monday was 12.2 cfs. We had no reports from anglers.
Rio Mora: As of Monday, stream flow near Terrero was 7.21 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Rio Pueblo: Stream flow near Penasco on Monday was 14.4 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Santa Cruz Reservoir: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Shuree Ponds: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Springer Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Storrie Lake: Fishing was fair using Fire Balls and PowerBait for trout. We had no other reports.
Stubblefield Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Ute Lake: Fishing for walleye was slow to fair using blade baits and spoons at 30 to 45 feet. We had no other reports. The surface water temp was in the high 50s and the water was murky. Fishing pressure was very light with strong winds most of this past week.
NorthwestAbiquiu Lake: Fishing was fair using jigging spoons and blade baits at 20 to 41 feet for walleye. Fishing for smallmouth bass was fair using tubes, senkos and shakey head jigs in 12 to 28 feet of water. We had no other reports.
Animas River: Water flow below Aztec on Monday morning was 279 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Albuquerque Area Drains: Trout fishing continued as good to excellent based on reports received from anglers fishing the Albuquerque, Bernalillo, Corrales, Peralta and Belen drains. Anglers reported great success using worms under a bobber, PowerBait, Fire Balls, small grubs, micro mays and custom tied nymphs. Fishing was fair using worms, grubs, tubes and jigs for largemouth bass and catfish.
Bluewater Lake: Fishing for tiger muskies was slow with just a few caught by anglers using jerk baits, spinners, swim baits and crank baits. We had no other reports.
Brazos River: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Canjilon Lakes: Closed by the U.S. Forest Service until further notice.
Chama River: Monday morning water flows below El Vado and Abiquiu were 507 cfs and 832 cfs respectively. Fishing above El Vado was very good using an assortment of small nymphs for brown and rainbow trout. Fishing below El Vado was good using bead-head hares ear nymphs, wooly buggers, spinners, night crawlers and Fire Balls for brown and rainbow trout. We had no reports from below Abiquiu. The river from the USGS gauging station to the confluence of the Rio Nutrias is now catch and release only using single barbless hook artificial flies and lures.
Cochiti Lake: Fishing was slow with just a few walleye and bass caught by anglers using jigs and crank baits.
El Vado Lake: Fishing was slow for all species. Fishing pressure was very light.
Fenton Lake: Fishing was very good from the bank and from boats. Anglers did well using PowerBait, salmon eggs, corn, wooly buggers, Pistol Petes, spoons and spinners.
Heron Lake: Fishing was good using PowerBait and salmon eggs from the bank for rainbow trout. Kokanee snagging was slow. We had no other reports.
Jackson Lake: Fishing was good using small Kastmasters, PowerBait and salmon eggs for trout. We had no other reports.
Jemez Waters: Stream flow on the Jemez River near Jemez Springs on Monday morning was 24.8 cfs. Fishing on the Jemez was good using copper John Barrs, custom tied mop flies, Fire Balls and worms for trout. Trout fishing on the lower Cebolla was fair to good using worms and Fire Balls. We had no other reports.
Laguna del Campo: Closed for the season.
Lagunitas Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Lake Farmington: Fishing was very good using PowerBait, homemade dough bait and salmon eggs for trout. We had no other reports.
Manzano Lake: Fishing was fair to good using garlic PowerBait, salmon egg corn combinations and worms for trout. Andrea Leon, 13, of Belen, had an awesome time fishing here this past week with her mom and dad. They caught nine rainbow trout ranging in size from 9 to 13 inches. They were using a variety of baits with the best being Gulp cheese flavored pinched worms. We had no other reports.
Navajo Lake: Fishing was fair using creature baits, tubes, plastic worms, straight tail grubs, senkos and swim baits for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing was fair using swim baits, chatter baits, jigs and crank baits for northern pike. We had no other reports. The surface water temp was in the mid 50s.
San Gregorio Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
San Juan River: Stream flow on Monday morning was 428 cfs. Fly fishing action through the Quality waters was good for anglers using foam wing emergers, fluff baetis, brassies, small zebra midges, crystal flash emergers, RS2, comparaduns, red larva, parachute adams and small bead-head pheasant tail nymphs. Trout fishing through the bait waters was fair to good using PowerBait, worms, salmon eggs, wooly worms, prince nymphs and bead-head pheasant tail nymphs.
Seven Springs Brood Pond: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Tingley Beach: Fishing at the Youth and Central ponds was very good using PowerBait, salmon eggs, worms, spinners, Pistol Petes, wooly buggers and bead-head pheasant tail nymphs for trout. Fishing at the Bob Gerding Catch and Release Pond was fair to good using bead-head pheasant tail nymphs, small leech patterns and custom tied flies for trout. We had no other reports.
Trout Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.
SouthwestAlumni Pond: Fishing was very good using Super Dupers, PowerBait, worms and salmon eggs for trout. We had no other reports.
Bear Canyon Lake: Fishing was fair using worms and liver for catfish. Fishing was fair to good using PowerBait for trout. We had no other reports.
Bill Evans Lake: Fishing was fair using spinners, PowerBait and salmon eggs for trout. Fishing for all other species was slow.
Caballo Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Elephant Butte Lake: Fishing was good using crank baits, blade baits, spoons and jig and minnow combinations for white bass. Robert and Dominic Galewaler of Albuquerque reported decent white bass fishing this past week. They caught nine white bass and one smallmouth bass while fishing near Rattlesnake Island. They were using white and yellow curly tail grubs. Fishing was slow to fair using live bait, Ned rigs, senkos, curly tail and straight tail grubs and creature baits for largemouth bass and smallmouth bass. Fishing was good using cut bait, night crawlers, liver and homemade dough baits for catfish. We had no other reports. The surface water temp was in the low to mid 60s.
Escondida Lake: Fishing was fair to good using spinners, Z Rays, PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout. We had no other reports.
Gila River: Stream flow on Monday morning was 56.1 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Glenwood Pond: Fishing was good using PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout.
Lake Roberts: Fishing was slow to fair using worms, Fire Balls and PowerBait for trout. We had no other reports.
Percha Dam: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Quemado Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Rancho Grande Ponds: Fishing was good using PowerBait for trout. We had no other reports.
Rio Grande: Stream flow below Elephant Butte Monday morning was 0.35 cfs. Fishing for catfish in the Mesilla Valley Dam area was good again this past week. Anglers did well using night crawlers and homemade dough baits with a liver and cheese mixture. We had no other reports.
Snow Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Young Pond: Fishing was good using PowerBait, worms and salmon eggs for trout.
SoutheastAlto Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Bataan Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Black River: Stream flow at Malaga on Monday was 15.8 cfs. Fishing was fair to good using PowerBait and salmon eggs for trout. We had no other reports.
Blue Hole Park Pond: Fishing was good using worms, PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout. We had no other reports.
Bonito Lake: Closed until further notice by the city of Alamogordo due to fire damage.
Bosque Redondo Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Bottomless Lakes: Fishing was fair using PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout.
Brantley Lake: Anglers are required to catch and release all fish here as high levels of pesticides have been found in some fish. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Carlsbad Municipal Lake: Fishing was fair using PowerBait and worms for trout. We had no other reports.
Chaparral Park Lake: Fishing was fair to good using salmon eggs and PowerBait for trout.
El Rito Creek: Fishing was good using Pistol Petes, PowerBait, worms and Fire Balls for trout. We had no other reports.
