By City of Santa Fe
Mayor Alan Webber and the City of Santa Fe are reaching out to recruit talented and dedicated Santa Feans to help lead the City in key areas. Along with the Mayor, City Council, and City Manager, citizen-led boards and commissions are a major driver of what happens in City Hall. The administration is committed to committee membership that represents the full spectrum of Santa Fe’s geographic, gender, age and demographic diversity.
These boards and commissions advise on or oversee everything from what housing gets approved to what audits the City conducts and what community organizations receive part of the millions of dollars in grants that the City gives out each year.
Mayor Webber said, “Santa Fe has such a strong culture of volunteerism. Organizations citywide rely on volunteers to help keep medians clean, support kids in schools, feed our hungry neighbors, and so much more. At the City, there’s an opportunity for volunteers to steer local government and shape the future for our City, and I hope everyone will consider what they can bring to the table and sign up to serve today.”
