To Our Fellow Hunters and Anglers

By NM Wildlife
Will the highlight of your Thanksgiving meal be a turkey that you shot this year? Is your freezer filled with meat from your recent elk hunt? Does your family regularly enjoy fresh fish from our New Mexico streams? These are the traditions that New Mexico Wildlife Federation works to protect all year long and we could not do it without the support of our hunters and anglers.
Here are just some of the things NMWF accomplished this year:
  • Attended every game commission meeting to be the voice of our membership
  • Held sportsmen and women’s meetings around the state so that you could share your opinions and knowledge with NMWF and other members
  • Put our support behind the renewal of the Land and Water Conservation Fund
  • Fought to retain your wild and scenic rivers
  • Gathered public comments on the Elk Rule and E-PLUS rule
  • Supported the House introduction of the ANTIQUITIES Act 2018
  • Taught students at Freedom High School and the Native American Community Academy how to protect and conserve the outdoors
  • Fought to prevent road closures in Chavez County
  • Stood beside our members and fought against the Gila Diversion
In 2019 we will continue to fight for your hunting and fishing rights as well as your access to public lands. Help New Mexico Wildlife Federation stay true to its mission to inspire New Mexicans to conserve public landscapes, watersheds, and wildlife for our children’s future. We are asking for your end of year, tax deductible donation to help support the continued fight for your rights and your children’s heritage.
