Tom Brady brings experience, skills, intelligence, leadership, and will change the look of the franchise because of his love of the game

It’s no longer a secret, 42-year-old Thomas Edward Patrick Brady has finished testing his first free agency and will be signing on the dotted line to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ new quarterback.
He trades in his remarkable record-breaking success story with the New England Patriots, plus the New England cold weather and snow for sunny skies, new fans and a change to a franchise that might be many moons away from a Super Bowl. But with Brady’s ability, experience, and will to win, who knows.
He came to the Pats after being drafted as the 199th pick in the 6th round. Watching this with his family, he was so upset that six other quarterbacks were chosen before him, he went to his bedroom and slammed the door. In an interview years later, he said that he briefly left the house, cried, and again went to his bedroom.
That’s that for that, and who knows just how good Brady would have been at Michigan if Drew Henson wouldn’t have been so stubborn and signed with the New York Yankees. He was a blue chip prospect at third base and kept playing football while the Yanks waited for his signature, but he never made it to the big leagues.
Brady’s first two seasons as a Wolverine was a frustrating one. He was in fact the team’s 6th rated quarterback, and maybe that’s why he hardly played. As a freshman, he made five passes and completed three for two yards, As a sophomore, again he hardly worked up a sweat while completing 12 passes in 18 attempts and a minus 14 yards.
He felt unwanted there, even though of transferring to a California school, even turned to a sports psychologist for advice, discussed it with his family, and remained at Michigan.
But in his junior year, three of the quarterbacks ahead of him had graduated, which left him and Hanson and head coach Lloyd Carr decided to platoon them, Hanson starting in the first half and Brady in the second. The Wolverines were undefeated in five starts, they won at Wisconsin and at Michigan State, but when down by 17 points at home to Ohio State
