DVS Veterans Service Officers to Take VA Certification Training Next Week

The New Mexico Department of Veterans Services (DVS) will hold a certification training next week (March 8th – 12th) for some of its veterans service officers (VSOs) based in Albuquerque, Gallup, Las Cruces, Las Vegas, and Santa Fe.

The training is a requirement for accreditation with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and provides the VSOs with the necessary tools to best advocate for New Mexico’s veterans and their families.

DVS does not anticipate any disruption of ongoing services.  Veterans or eligible family members living in the above-mentioned areas who need assistance next week can contact DVS by phone at (505) 383-2400 or email at nmdvs.info@state.nm.us. This will ensure that you receive prompt service.
