Santa Fe High softball team’s 10-0 setback at Bernalillo

It hasn’t been much of a softball season for Santa Fe High.
Thursday’s 10-0 loss at non-district opponent Bernalillo dropped the Demonettes to 2-12 overall as they play next in a District 5-5A doubleheader Saturday at Albuquerque High. It was also the sixth time that Santa Fe High was shut out and its now allowed 195 runs while scoring 62 of its own.
This was also its fourth shutout in a row after being blanked by 17-0 by Shiprock, 17-0 by Albuquerque Atrisco Heritage, and 15-0 by Robertson in game one of a doubleheader, with the Cardinals winning 22-3 in game two.
Albuquerque High is 4-8 overall.
