The visiting New Mexico State University women’s basketball team came through in overtime Wednesday night to depart with a 63-57 victory over Utah Valley at the UCCC Center.
It was a good team effort as the Aggies improved to 7-8 overall under head coach Jody Adams.
Said Adam: It’s not easy to win on the road, but Tayelin Gray came away with a career-high 18 points and the sophomore guard now has 500 career points.”
The 5-foot-8 Gray turned in 10 overtime points and NMSU also picked up 11 points from 5-7sophomore Sylena Peterson, and with 5-7 senior Inoussa Turner contributed 10 points to go with four rebounds and the same number of assists.
