ATATC claimed the 2-0 forfeit to improve to 17-7 overall and 7-2 in District 2-2A. But the competition hasn’t been much for Tierra Encantada is winless in 21 overall starts and Monte del Sol Charter 2-21 overall and 2-8 in district. 
 
Other girls results had Santa Fe High pin a 39-28 loss on visiting District 2-5A rival Capital, and Los Alamos won 37-32 at Taos.
 
The Demonettes triumph put them at 10-15 overall and 5-4 in district, with senior wing Maci Macias tossing in the team-high 11 points that included seven in the fourth quarter, while Layla Cintron tallied a dozen for the Jaguars, now 6-17 and 4-5. 
 
Santa Fe High plays at district foe Albuquerque High on Saturday and Capital gets a visit the same day from district opponent Albuquerque Manzano. 
 
The Demonettes held the Jaguars to only five points in the second and third quarters, and then turned a 12-8 halftime lead into a 24-14 advantage entering the fourth quarter. 
 
Los Alamos upped its overall mark to 17-7 and is 7-0 in 2-4A while Taos dropped to 7-17 and 1-6. Tara McDonald scored the team-high 12 points for the Hilltoppers and GG Romero added 10.
 
The final regular season game for Los Alamos is home against Pojoaque Valley Saturday, and the Tigers hit the road to Espanola Valley the same day.
