Santa Fe National Forest offices to close for Veteran’s Day

All Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) offices will be closed Friday, Nov. 10, in observance of Veteran’s Day. Offices will resume regular business hours on Monday, Nov. 13.

The Forest Service participates in fee-free days with other federal agencies to commemorate holidays and encourage Americans to visit their public lands.  Fees will be waived at Santa Fe National Forest sites that normally charge a day-use fee and campgrounds that are not on the National Recreation Reservation System.  Visitors to the Santa Fe National Forest are encouraged to contact the appropriate ranger district office to determine which sites are open and will have fees waived.

For additional information contact your local Ranger District or the SFNF Public Affairs Office atSm.fs.sfnfpao@usda.gov.
