Is Israel on the brink of another war?

On Monday, Israel bombed a building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus, killing the top Iranian general responsible for Tehran’s terrorist activities in Lebanon and Syria, in addition to two other Brigadier Generals of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC). Iran has stated that they consider this to be equivalent to an attack on Iranian soil and promised to “respond.”

Do not forget that since 10/7, while the primary focus has been dismantling Hamas in Gaza at the Israeli southern border, Hezbollah has simultaneously been engaging in a relentless campaign of terror in Israel’s north. Launching more than 1,000 rocket attacks and claiming the lives of both soldiers, civilians and wounding many more, Hezbollah’s near-daily bombardment in the north has displaced tens of thousands of Israelis who haven’t been able to return home for months.

Make no mistake, Israel has no choice but to respond to these unprovoked attacks.  Whether it is Hamas terrorists finding a safe haven in Qatar or Hezbollah generals in a building in Damascus—all of these “sons of Haman” are the terrorist proxies of Iran and should be treated as such.

In eliminating these terrorist thugs, Israel is doing the world a favor. Israel should be applauded, not condemned. Israel should not be told to “wrap up their war” Israel should be given the assistance she needs to defeat this evil once and for all.

And while Israel does what is necessary to defend her people, so too must we. We must speak out for Zion’s sake in our churches, communities, online, and in the hallowed halls of Congress. We must speak truth to both power and the masses.
