SFC Roar January 2025

Our God is faithful! The word faithful has been made so much more than a descriptive word but a definitive word through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

As we are blessed to see the first days of 2025, we ask the same as we did last year: Would you please come alongside us in 21 days of prayer? We continue to be astonished by His provision, protection, His plans, His timing, and His redemption. As we take a brief look back over the school year thus far, we see students and staff excelling spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Continued strength and confidence in our irreplaceable staff. Two new University Partnerships were added to our partnership list; an incredible Christmas program (watch HERE), and exceeded our Year End Giving goal! The most incredible part of it all? This school year is only halfway over–He is still going before us in His sovereignty!

As we look forward, we excitedly announce the opening of Santa Fe Christian Middle School by adding on a 7th grade class to commence in the 2025-2026 school year. The incoming 7th-grade class is already halfway full with our existing students! Make sure you stay tuned to be aware when applications become available to the public to reserve your seat(s)!

With growth comes more career opportunities! Stay in the know by staying subscribed to The Roar and following us on our socials so you may be the first to hear when new career opportunities become available!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a relaxing break from school. We have missed our students and we look forward to welcoming them back for what is sure to be an amazing 2025!

Our Boys Basketball Team will soon begin their games and I want to personally invite you to come cheer on our Lions! We are also fortunate this year to have our first-ever Girls Cheerleading Squad, coached by one of our founders and parents, Cat Compton-Custred. Please stay tuned for the game schedule!

On January 20th, we will open enrollment to our returning families for the 2025-2026 school year, which will include a new 7th grade class. Tuition assistance will also be prioritized for our returning families and awarded on a first come, first served basis for those who qualify.

Looking back on 2024, I am so thankful for the many things we accomplished at SFC. In addition to our enrollment growth, the spiritual and academic growth of our students continues to impress, and I am excited to see what else God has in store for us!

I believe 2025 will be a pivotal year for our school, and the good Lord is already providing us with additional resources to support our growth and sustainability. During the break, we were notified that two of our recent grant applications were successful – one to provide additional classroom equipment and another to support our expansion next year. We also had a successful year-end fundraising campaign that exceeded our goal, so special thanks to all of you who gave and helped spread the word.

The story of SFC is a journey of faith and I want to again thank each and every one of you for taking this journey with us. Together, we are providing an academically superior and uniquely Christian education that will impact our children and families for generations to come!

P.S. We are excited to welcome 3 new students to SFC this month!! Welcome families!
Above are a few snap shots of SFC students assembling and delivering Blessing Baskets to the Mary Esther Gonzales Senior Center. Their seniors received some essentials, a cozy item and pictures or cards written by our students! Our students wrote out entire verses, well wishes and spent time in prayer together. We love our Pride and our Santa Fe community!
We would love to extend a huge thank you to all that gave this past year. We surpassed our year-end giving goal! And by the grace of God, we received two more grants from private foundations. These funds are vital to help us prepare in for the iminent growth of Santa Fe Christian. The Lord and you all have blessed us beyond measure! Please continue to pray:

  • For our SFC families – that they will be healthy and blessed, and that the students will excel spiritually and academically during the school year;  
  • For the SFC staff – that God will guide and sustain them during the school year as they teach and minister to the students;
  • For a new location and/or additional space to house our growing school in the future; and
  • For our SFC School Board and the decisions they make for SFC.
