Hezbollah Terrorist Eliminated After Crossing Border

While the IDF continues its offensive against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, a breach in Israel’s defenses was exposed when two terror operatives managed to cross the border into Israel.

Until now, Hezbollah’s attacks have primarily consisted of drones and rockets, and Israel’s Home Front Command has not issued any new security warnings for residents. However, The Jerusalem Post reported that one of the terrorists was killed by IDF forces after opening fire on soldiers. The second suspect escaped.

The IDF Northern Command is investigating the origin of the attack. Scouts have been dispatched to the area to assist.

“We do not rule out the possibility that this was a terrorist who stayed underground or barricaded in a building for a very long time and decided to come out,” one military source said.

Earlier Tuesday, the IDF carried out multiple strikes in the city of Tyre, following statements by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, as well as yesterday’s clashes with Iran.

The IDF spokesperson issued a warning to residents of Tyre, including those in the Christian neighborhood: “For your safety, we call on you to immediately evacuate your homes in the area shown on the map and move to north of the al-Zahrani River. Being close to Hezbollah operatives, their facilities, or their weapons endangers your lives.”

Military sources say it is possible the terrorists had been hiding underground or barricaded inside a building near Ramim Ridge, where they opened fire on IDF soldiers. No troops were reported injured in the incident.

The IDF also reported that two Islamic Jihad terrorists were eliminated in Gaza today. One of them was involved in carrying out rocket attacks during the war following the October 7 attacks.

At the same time, a U.S. Apache helicopter crash landed near the Strait of Hormuz. It remains unclear whether the helicopter was shot down or suffered a catastrophic mechanical failure. An official report is expected later today. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the two pilots were unharmed and were rescued shortly after the crash.

The Fellowship and our supporters praise God for the safe rescue of the two U.S. servicemembers and for the continued vigilance of the IDF in northern Israel. We pray for their protection as they work to pursue shalom—peace.
