Santa Fe County Celebrates Fiesta de Santa Fe with Special Meeting

Santa Fe County will celebrate the 314th annual Fiesta de Santa Fe with a special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, September 8.

The celebration begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers at 102 Grant Avenue in Santa Fe. Past and present members of the Fiesta Council, Fiesta Court, and Cuadrilla will be welcomed as part of the event, and the public is invited to attend.

The County recently proclaimed September 8 as “Fiestas de Santa Fe Cultural Celebration and Belonging Day”, recognizing the traditions, history, and cultural connections surrounding Fiesta de Santa Fe.

During the special meeting, Santa Fe County will also premiere a new video featuring County employees who have served with the Fiesta Council, Court, and Cuadrilla over the years.

Those who cannot attend in person will also be able to watch the celebration virtually through Santa Fe County’s online meeting livestream.

The special Fiesta celebration will take place immediately before the County Commission’s regular meeting, which begins at 2:00 p.m.
