Undefeated in four starts, St. Michael’s has also dominated the overall team statistics.
From first downs to penalties, the Horsemen hold the upper hand, and in the score by quarters, it’s not even close, with St. Michael’s piecing together 140 points for a 35.6 average.
In rushing, senior Marcus Leyba leads the way with 98 yards on 64 carries and also a team high six touchdowns. Behind him is sophomore running back Cole Sandoval with 12 rushes for 116 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
In passing, senior Zach Martinez has completed 39 of 70 attempts and includes nine touchdowns.
In pass receptions, Chavez had caught 18 for 258 yards for a 14.9 average, and right behind is Lozada on 15-221 for a 15.4 average. And Leyba has reeled in five for 97 yards and a 19.4 norm.
In tackles, seniors Andy Dang and Dillon Pacheco have 19 each and Lozada has turned in 14 to go with 3 and 1/2 sacks.
