Santa Fe Boys & Girls Club Hosts “Her Future Starts Here” Conference to Inspire and Empower Young Women

The Santa Fe Boys & Girls Club is proud to host the Her Future Starts Here Conference on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Bryan Fant Theatre at Capital High School. This empowering event will bring together young women from across the community for a day focused on confidence, leadership, goal setting, and discovering their potential.

The conference was created to provide girls with meaningful opportunities to connect with strong female role models, develop important life skills, and see the many possibilities available for their futures. Participants will take part in interactive workshops focused on self-esteem, personal growth, and leadership development.

The event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Tragil Wade-Johnson, a nationally recognized speaker, author, advocate, and founder of America’s Big Sisters Foundation. Dr. Wade Johnson is dedicated to inspiring young people to recognize their value, overcome challenges, and pursue their dreams.

In addition, attendees will hear from community leaders during a Women Leaders Panel, where professionals from different backgrounds will share their experiences, challenges, and advice for the next generation.

“At the Santa Fe Boys & Girls Club, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to see what is possible for their future,” said Sarah Martinez, CEO of the Santa Fe Boys & Girls Club. “Her Future Starts Here is about surrounding girls with encouragement, mentorship, and examples of strong women who have created their own paths. We want every girl to leave knowing that her goals matter and her future is full of possibilities.”

The Santa Fe Boys & Girls Club serves youth ages 5–18 by providing safe spaces, caring mentors, and programs that support academic success, leadership, healthy lifestyles, and career readiness.
