Bridge Rehab on I-25 West Frontage Road

NMDOT Announces Upcoming Bridge Rehabilitation On I-25 West Frontage Road 

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will begin bridge rehabilitation on the I-25 West Frontage Road from milepost 4.978 to milepost 5.00 in Santa Fe.  The project will include bridge joint replacements, crack sealing, rip-rap, concrete repair and re-coating of piles and railing.

Starting May 8th the I-25 West Frontage Road will be CLOSED between Scott Place Road and NM 599.  This portion of the West Frontage Road will be CLOSED from May 8th to mid- July of 2017; weather permitting.

Motorists can use NM 14 as an alternate route during this time. Villalobos Construction Co. Inc. of Las Cruces, New Mexico is the contractor for the project.

Drivers are urged to observe traffic control signs and reduce speed to the posted speed limit.  Updates on this project will be posted on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s road advisory website, http://nmroads.com/.
